Initially, the stone’s flawless shape and exquisite surface color inspired grand visions: designs featuring revered cultural icons like Guanyin or Guan Gong, symbols of blessings and legacy meant to fulfill the client’s aspirations for familial heritage.
Yet upon closer inspection, our master carvers discovered subtle imperfections—faint dark speckles and hidden flaws beneath the seemingly perfect exterior. While negligible to the untrained eye, our team, through rigorous deliberation and consultation, resolved that every piece bearing the "Yi Shi Yi Mu" name must transcend temporal trends. We committed to creating heirlooms that would endure not just for this generation, but for generations to come.
This conviction led to a bold decision: to excise every imperfection. After extensive consultations with the client, we reluctantly but resolutely removed all sections failing our exacting standards.
