In contemporary times, sourcing a large natural seed nugget of Hetian jade is exceptionally rare, and even more precious is the stone’s outstanding quality. In the early stages of this private customization project, our design team engaged in extensive discussions with the client. We deeply deliberated on critical aspects: how to process the raw material, select thematic motifs, and spatially highlight the stone’s innate beauty. Ultimately, we decided to craft it into a complete set of "Peace and Tranquility Plaques" (平安无事牌, píng’ān wúshì pái) for familial collection and legacy. This coincided with the pandemic period, during which we collectively recognized that "peace", beyond symbols of prosperity or longevity, represented the most fundamental human aspiration
